The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams

The Glass Menagerie will open at the Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill on February 20, 2020 and run for four or possibly five weeks. This is going to be a very different production, taking on the quality of being a Memory Play seriously. Directed by Frederick Ponzlov and produced by Victoria Liberatori, this will be a decidedly non-realistic, edgy production.

Amanda - early 50’s to early 60’s a determined and charming woman whose children are foremost in her life.

Laura – early 20’s to late 20’s, like a piece of fine glass, delicate and easily broken. Extremely vulnerable.

Gentleman Caller – mid 20’s to late 20’s – A former high school hero who has currently lost his luster.

Violinist – Any age or gender capable of improvisational playing.

The role of Tom has been cast and will be played by the director, Mr. Ponzlov, the director of the memory.

Auditions will be in the afternoons of Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th at Ponzlov Acting Studio, 304 Washington Ave. SE. Callbacks will be at the Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill. For an appointment and sides contact Fred Ponzlov at or call 562 607 1951. For additional info, please call Aux Dog at 505-596-0607 or email
