Auditions for Climate Change Theatre Action (CCTA19)

This year Camino Real Productions is proud to once again be participating in the Climate Change Theatre Action, a worldwide series of readings and performances of short climate change plays presented to coincide with the United Nations Santiago Climate Change Conference (COP25), where world leaders will gather to discuss ways to reduce global carbon emissions.

Among the plays we will be presenting are:
The Rookery by Elaine Avila (US/Canada)
A Dog Loves Mangos by Georgina Escobar (Mexico/US)
Birthday Suit by MaryAnn Karanja (Kenya)
America’s First Environmentalists by Mary Kathryn Nagle (Cherokee)

We will hold auditions at the KUNM studios on August 10 and 11 from 1:00 to 3:30. Looking for male and female actors of any age. Cold readings from the scrips. We will record the plays at KUNM on August 31. They will then be broadcast on Sunday, September 15th on KUNM’s Radio Theatre (Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm on KUNM 89.9 FM) and will subsequently be available
